The Blue Knight

Blue Knight (344, EM5)

Sometimes patterns are hard to ignore.  Like this one on the Las Vegas strip that I saw a few days ago.  Just walking along enjoying the eternal “street show” that defines the strip and there it was.  No neon lights, no glitz, just this wonderful pattern.  Turns out it’s a symbol of some store that my wife says we could never afford to shop at (Herme’s, I think).  Doesn’t matter.  I liked it anyway.

Yeah, there’s 4 of the little buggers by my count. At least they look like traditional chess pieces to me. Don’t know what their significance is with respect to the store or its marketing….
