At the Beach
Well, it hasn’t been the best year for this kind of activity. Although kids don’t seem to notice the air or the water temperature as much as us old folks do. We did get a whole day in the 80’s this past weekend, but now we’re back to the 70’s (low 70’s). At least it ain’t raining…….
I never did figure out what this guy was doing. He kept doing this pointing thing – it looks a lot like the signal for a first down in football. But why would you do it in the water? To impress the girls (who didn’t seem all that impressed)? Or was he pointing toward deep water, as if nobody else could figure that out? Or maybe he’s trying to get the other guy to turn around.
Or maybe I should try to find something more constructive to do.
I gave up trying to figure out the youth of today, but then again that is what my father said of me back in the 60’s
